On the Polish construction increasingly appear sandwich panels, which are successfully used to climb walls, but most of all roof surfaces for mating. The material that wandered into our country from Great Britain, commonly called a "sandwich panel" and is characterized by extremely low weight, while maintaining adequate stiffness and thermal insulation properties. Advantages of the sandwich panels are characteristic in their construction. They consist generally of two rigid sheets of stainless steel (also protected against UV radiation), separated by a polystyrene or polyurethane filler. Such a construction is durable and lightweight, which is of great importance in the design of roofs for large objects - production halls and warehouses, sports and entertainment halls, shelters, street, railway stations etc. Roofing with sandwich panels are used successfully also in housing and a flats. In this case, investors pay particular attention to their two advantages - relatively low price and simplicity of installation, which does not require professional employment, and thus expensive roofing staff.
